Got up today and packed up in Driggs, rainy morning. Drove through Ashton and up to Island Park. Harriman Ranch closed until June 15. Sonya and I had breakfast at the Trout Hunter. Stopped at box canyon campground, nice place for camping. Drove to Henry’s Lake campground, no good. West Yellowstone, then down the Gallatin River. Everything high and off color. Still wet and raining over pipestone pass, Got into Butte late afternoon, checked into Hotel Finlen, motor inn. Dinner at Casagranada’s.
