November 2022 ~ Week 3

Monday November 14:

Jake’s first day in his new job at Grandview Branch. Cubes picked up. Moved boat to barn after clean up. Deer activity slowed. Snow began falling late.

Tuesday November 15th:

Finished up organizing the shop, built fishing rod racks for musky gear. Went to town with Sonya, picked up painting supplies at Michael’s. Put out deer corn, moved trail camera. Worked on cutting trail from the pond to the creek. There was a lot of deer activity in the night. Finally a mature old buck showed up. showed up.

Wednesday November 16th:

Made drawer fronts for large drawers in kitchen. Began painting on a larger canvas with acrylics. Did a sit in the East Bottoms stand. Buck encounter.

Thursday November 18th:

Working on drawer fronts, applied finish. Did some more painting on acrylic large canvas. Stormy sky and lake scene with front of canoe. Cold and overcast.

Friday Nov 18th:

Installed 4 large drawers in kitchen. Jordan helped. Slept in till 9:30.

Saturday November 19th:

Worked on drawer fronts for the oven and coffee maker cabinets. G G came over for a visit. Messed around with color blending for paintings went and did a sit in south blind at dark. Nothing new happening out there, no deer.

Sunday November 19th:

Morning sit at south blind. Duck hunters at the lake doing a lot of shooting. Restocked all of the corn and freshened stand sites.
